Remember, you cannot use the ® symbol unless your trademark has been registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. If your trademark has not been registered but you want to indicate that it is a trademark, use the ™ symbol. If you do register, you not only get to use the ® symbol, but you also get more rights if you decide to sue someone for using your mark or a confusingly similar one.
